Future Plans

Well, we've been planning for a while that we wanted another little one. We plan on a total of 6. If we have all of our kids by the time we are 30 then when we turn 50 our youngest will be 20 and we will be young enough to play and enjoy our grandchildren.

This will be number four. We planned on trying in January but I needed dental work done so we put it off until February, then March, then April, then May. But in May we found out we put it off too long and nature took over for us. So between planning and postponing we are having a little one.

With my last pregnancy I had a short cervix at 6 months. I was 50 percent effaced and was put on bed rest for 13 weeks. So for this pregnancy in a couple of weeks I am going to have a procedure done that will put a stitch in my cervix to keep it closed and one month before I have the baby it will be taken out. I can do anything I normally would with the stitch. Well, except it lessens the chances of me going into preterm labor. The only other option I have is to go on complete bed rest for 6 months. That can't be an option with three kids.

Anyways, I am 11 weeks along. My due date is December 28. And we don't know if it is a boy or girl obviously, but the doctor did laugh and say that how fast the heart beat was going it generally means a girl but not always. So he told Lonnon not to give up hope there is still a chance it could be a boy. I laughed and said if it is a girl it would be because he has told so many people that he will have ten girls as long as he gets one boy.

Lonnon has been so wonderful. As soon as I told him, he hugged me, kissed me and said, "I guess we're having a baby." and smiled. He has had a glow about him ever since. I am so grateful for a husband that is so supportive. Now if he could just be so supportive he could make this awful morning or should I say 24 hour sickness go away!

Make-Up Days for Bad Days are GREAT!

Ok today was much better. Lonnon had the day off and it made things much easier. He let me sleep in (it was a whole half hour before I got up to but hey, sleeping in is sleeping in) he then helped me make breakfast. We made french toast and hashbrowns. I did the easy one, hashbrowns. He made the french toast. It was awsome. He then cleared the table and put all the food away! He also made it so I got a nap when it was nap time. I took a three hour nap!! First I didn't know I was that tired. Second I can't remember the last time I took that long of a nap. I got so much cleaned today. And boy, did I need to after yesterday. My house is still very lived in but wow, he kept the kids out of my hair for most of the day. He also made the kids clean up dinner. Man, I love my husband!! The best part is I never even asked him for help once. Accept if he would carry the vacuum down the stairs, and he did it right when I asked. I am bouncing off the walls with joy today, let me tell you!!! Just a note, it normally is not this good of a rebound after a day like yesterday. It is like Katie, my sister-in-law, said basicly we all have those days, and weeks and it seems like months too. I hope it was just a day and I thank Heaven for today!!

Ok. Next. I have been painting. No supprise to most, but I think my drawing and painting everything is rubbing off on my girls. In both a good and not so good way. They do great art work on paper. But they do it everywhere else too. Here are some of my paintings:

yes the last two look alike but that was my goal so I can hang them side by side.

The piont of the story is I draw and paint on everything. Then I tell the kids not to draw or paint on the walls, doors, windows, dressers, well, you get the pioint. Well, a few days ago, BraeLynne crawled on the top of her desk and wrote the abc's. The problem is it is the first time she has written them in order from memory. So it turned into a Don't ever write on your desk again and you have to clean it up until it comes off because it is in marker. At the same time Good Job!! I just wish you would have done it on paper so we could put it in your memory book. She is so smart (I think) and starts Kindergarten in August. Here are her ABC's.

It may not be the best pictures but I had to stand on her desk to try and get the pictures. She did a good job in my opinion. But all I can say is some times getting too mad over the simple things is not worth the praise you should show. Many times you have to say 100 good jobs for the one time you said bad job. So I made sure this time it was a good job for the good part but shame and a small slap on the wrist for the bad.

Awards for Non - Crazy Mothers

There should be an award for mothers not harming their children. Not literally harming them but something. Today was the day from the place down under. My kids thought it was a day to torcher eachother, the dog, their parents and even the house. Keilani thought she needed to throw anything she could lift down the stairs or over the balcany. The louder the noise the harder she laughed. BraeLynne and Auroiya thought it was better to tease eachother until the other cryed. Then they would do it to Keilani who fights back by biting, pinching, pushing, pulling hair and number one, choking. She wraps her arm around their neck in a choker hold and drops to the floor and just holds them there. I am waiting for the day I walk in to see a passed out child. They opened my rolls and shredded them all over my bed and got in all my freshly washed sheets. They opened a loaf of bread downstairs and ripped all the crust off each piece and tested each one before throwing it and tore all the cushions off the couch. To finish the day BraeLynne tryed to lock Auroiya out of her room and slammed her bedroom door and since it didn't close she just kept pushing. Keilani just screamed louder. Lonnon got to them first. He saw that Keilani's hand was smashed in the door and it wouldn't open so he ramed it. Brae got ramed in the head with the door and Keilani got saved. Everyone got iced and sent to bed.
The question is are you happy Keilani got help and her fingers are well brused but not broken or sad that BraeLynne got wacked in the head with the door and has a goose-egg?
The other question is where was there mother? To tell you the truth, I don't know. If I blink the are doing something else. Maybe I should tape my eyes open so I don't blink and maybe things won't be so hard. Or at least there won't be days like today right?
I have come to the concusion that if we don't have the hard days then we won't enjoy the good days or realize how good we really have it. My girls are not wild insaine children, they just have those kinds of days. Even though it was a rough day, I wouldn't trade them for the world. and they are so cute tonight. SLEEPING!!!
See aren't they cute now? and it is so quiet and peaceful at our house now.
